Updated painting - "Inspired By: Broken Dreams"



Here is an update of what I've been working on since last week... I took some elements of aesthetic from an older painting titled "The Alchemist" and began adding my foliage, feathery, texture. I like this paintings direction because of the contour, it reminds me of the old school movie when they where trapped in the video game(name)? But, right now I'd like to finish it up...The message seems unclear so maybe my final strokes will bring some overall definition to the piece. Check older post to see steps, process.

my gawd concep, its gorgeous. the foliage/feathery texture really brings it to life. i like how it seems to connect overall (the stems from tha back tricklin' down to the floor and back up again from the hands back to the person lookin' back).

one of my favs.

ps. go into your blogger settings and hit the "comments" tab, change it to a POP UP window so ur readers can comment that way. just a suggestion of course.

wow concep! "The Alchemist" was one of my favorite but i really like this one now. i feeling the color you create.

i found the alchemist by literally opening up a drawer at a buddhist institute. it sat there, staring at me, annoyed that i had taken so long to "stumble" upon it.

apparently, little ancestral angels had planted it there, just for me.

OR, the student that stayed in the room b4 me just left it behind as an accident on purpose gift for the next wanderer.

either way, this book FINDS its readers.
