Under The Stars Beneath The Palm Trees?

Under the stars beneath the palms trees,
The carpet is covered in candy,
We like to walk barefooted and hold gold coins,
With triumph comes the solar energy of the last God man set eyes on,
Everyone has candy on there floors and the atmosphere in there souls,
We tried to move forward with love,
But the Negroes stopped building the train tracks and became colored,
The coloreds became too indigo and started having money thrown at them for their colored indigo antics,
I woke up and smelled defeat,
The colors on my paintbrush changed right in front of my eyes,
Somebodies Cadillac parked near the dirt road played southernplayalistic,
A small child somewhere had a pocket full of stones.
The captain landed us safe on the Wall
Of The swimming pool,
I began to tread water and it started raining,
It was a Monday

galaxies in hearts
planets in their hands
stardust in their eyes

firebird
sun rises
the
moon
naps
ground closes up
and
skies sing prayers
