Definition Re-Read_Trapart

MY LOVE FOR THE STREETS, BEING OUTSIDE, BREAKING DAY, DISCOVERING COOL SHIT HAS FINALLY TAKEN SHAPE.  THE CNCP CLOTHING WEBSITE HAS BEEN CREATED AND HAS RETAIL ITEMS AVAILABLE.  MY FIRST PHOTOSHOOT FOR THE GARMENTS JUST TWO DAYS PAST. TRAPART: THERE IS AN ART TO TRAPPING, THE IDEA AND METAPHOR AROUND TRAPART IS TO MAKE SOMETHING OUT OF NOTHING FROM HUMBLE BEGINNINGS.  THE  VISUAL ART I CREATE HAS TO SPEAK TO BOTH THOSE WHO COME FROM STRUGGLE AND THE "TRAPS" ORIGINS, WHILE ALSO MAKING A STRONG CONNECTION TO POPULAR CULTURE WHOM HAVE BEEN INFLUENCED BY SUCH TRAPPINGS.  I HAVE ALWASY BEEN AROUND/ FAMILIAR WITH SECTION 8 HOUSING, THE PROJECTS OF BOTH NEW ORLEANS AND NEW YORK CITY, BACKROADS, TRAPPED OUT APARTMENTS, ENTIRE BLOCKS...AND I WOULD WONDER IF? THERE WAS ART REPRESENTING THESE IMPOVERISHED PLACES WHAT WOULD IT BE? I FELT A STRONG DETACHMENT FROM THE "STREET" AND "ART".  THIS STARTED BECAUSE I WANTED TO SEE ICONIC BLACK FACES IN PLACES THEY MIGHT NOT BE WELCOMED...THIS TURNED INTO A MORE UNIVERSAL IDEA THAT IT'S NOT NECESSARILY A BLACK AND A WHITE THING, IT'S ABOUT CLASSISM, SOCIAL COMMENTARY, PUSHING POSITIVITY, CREATING ICONS OUT OF PEOPLE ALIVE AND WELL AND SOME PAST THAT SHOULD BE (LEGENDS) RECOGNIZED FOR BOTH GOOD(GOD) AND EVIL(DEVIL).  I WAS TIRED OF THE SAME REGURGITATED CELEBS OUR SOCIETY HOLDS SO CLOSE AND DEAR  TO THIER HEARTS.  ANYONE WHOM PUTS ART IN THE STREETS MUST SHARE THE SAME SENTIMENTS AS ME.  I JUST WANT PEOPLE TO BE SOMEHOW DISTRACTED FROM LIFE LONG ENOUGH TO GET THEM TO LOOK AND ADMIRE AND SHARE MY THOUGHTS AND WORK.  I BELIVE IN BEING A FAN OF LIFE AND THOSE WHO EXCELL OR SPARK INTRIGUE WITHIN IT.
